Superior Rooms (48 m2)

Inspired by metal elements, the Superior rooms feature wooden fittings that exude a succulent warmth to the rooms.  Resplendent in shades of sand and ochre, each room is fabulously appointed for your comfort. 

Deluxe Rooms (58 m2)

Drawing inspiration from water, the Deluxe rooms feature a prominent Feng Shui element – a stunning water sculpture which glistens in the opulent candle light of the room.  Hues of sand and blue dominate the room in soft lines.

Junior Suites (78 m2)

The element of focus in the Suites is wood, and it is played throughout in ochre and sand tones.  A super king size double bed and spacious sitting area on the private balcony beckons patrons to come on in and relax, find your comfort zone!  Equipped with a dressing area and airy bathroom complete with walk-in shower, bath, separate toilet and double vanities. 

Senior Suites (98 m2)

Boasting its own plush private garden that faces the lagoon, each villa is inspired by the elements of fire and earth.  The suites Tang and Ming seem to radiate embers of orange and red, for an exotic appeal.  A regal double bed rests atop two steps off the sitting area, while a very spacious bathroom beckons for a long soak, or whirl bath. 

Emperor Villa (288 m²)

Incorporating all five elements of Feng Shui, the Emperor Villa is the perfect hideaway to reenergize and relax.  All furnishings and fittings in this majestic Villa are closely related to fire, earth, water, metal and wood.  Complete with its own kitchenette, 2 bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite, the Villa is complemented by its own whirlpool, private pool, secluded outdoor stone garden, gazebo for outdoor dining and barbecue area.  The Villa has its own private beach, perfect for newlyweds.  A well-trained butler is available upon request.

Swimming Pools

With two fresh-water swimming pools, sun worshipping hotel guests have a choice of facilities.  Located in the center of the hotel and close to the hotel’s main restaurant Le Grand Bleu, the main pool overlooks the stunning bay. 
A second pool is placed in a tranquil spot at the hotel’s edge in front of the Banyan Pool Bar & Grill for your convenience and swimming pleasure.

Water Sports

Complimentary water sports include water skiing, aqua gym, glass bottom boating, snorkeling, sailing, kayaks, pedal boats and windsurfing. 
Water sports available at a nominal fee include big game fishing, speedboat rides and PADI scuba diving.

Land-based Activities

Complimentary land based activities include floodlit tennis courts, table tennis, beach volley, gym, Tai Chi classes, Yoga classes, mountain bike rentals, pool tables, golf balls, electronic games and bocci ball.  For those who want to start learning the game of golf, a driving range is also available. 
Two great golf courses are also located nearby.

Spa

Pampering is par for the course at the hotel’s spa.  Integrating Thalasso and Spa into a course for well being, the spa features five tranquil massage room and a hydrotherapy room.  The spa specializes in a variety of wraps and scrubs.  Ammenities include two whirlpools, a hammam, a sauna, high tech gym with modern equipment, hairdressing salon, and a salt water swimming pool.

Kids Club

Qualified and gracious hostesses entertain youngsters ages 3 to 11 years at the Kids Club.  Babysitting services are also available or those under three at an additional fee upon request.  The main restaurant serves children’s lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Teens Club

Teens will find fun packed activities and away-from-the-hotel excursions at the teen club, open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Conference Room

A fully air conditioned conference room which seats between 24 to 30 people (depending on seating style) is available at the Legends for meetings and seminars in sophisticated style and comfort. 
In addition, a 60-seat cinema is available as well as a Boardroom, in which 12 people are comfortably accommodated.  There is no charge for use of these facilities for resident groups.  
The Conference Room is well-equipped with a 35mm slide projector, an overhead projector, multi-system video equipment, a PA system, flip charts, a lectern and a  handy wall screen for your convenience. A projector is available upon your request. 
Additional services or equipment are readily available for an additional charge and per request.
Standard hotel rates are also available for secretarial, internet, email, photocopying and fax services.

Ginkgo

The hotel’s main restaurant, Ginkgo offers a succulent buffet breakfast, tables d’hôte, Mauritian, Mediterranean and Asian themed buffets.  Seats 250.  Open 7 a.m. through 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. through 10:30 p.m.

La Bastide

With seating under tropical parasols on the decked terrace, La Bastide offers dining by the water’s edge.  Beach bar and grill serves Mediterranean culinary delights with tropical hints.  Seats 60.  Open 12.30p.m- 4p.m and 7.30p.m- 10.30p.m.

Karma House

A walk-in wine cellar and open-style kitchen reflect on days gone by and yesteryear in the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant, Karma House.  Based on the “trilogy” concept, food at Karma House is cooked in three different ways. Seats 50. 7:30p.m- 10.30p.m for dinner.  

Abalone

Delicious seafood fresh from the ocean, pearly shellfish, scarlet red crayfish, and much much more to be found at Abalone.  Specialties include hearty salads and native Mauritian cuisine.  Open for lunch and dinner. Seats 40.  7.30p.m- 10.30p.m.

Grand Bleu

A wide selection of both international and native beers, wines and spirits are served up in plentitude at Grand Bleu, the hotel’s pool bar.  Featuring comfortable sofa, tables and chair, the bar serves a light lunch and snacks, as well as dim sum and traditional Chinese tea with home made pancakes in the afternoon.  Open daily from 12:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Spirit Lounge & Bar

For a quiet drink in a pleasantly refined ambience, check out the Spirit Lounge and bar, which calls up memories of an English pub.  Open 4 p.m. to midnight.

Banyan Pool, Grill & Bar

Beneath some of the oldest and most regal banyan trees on Mauritius island is the abode of the Banyan bar, with seating on the lawn or under a beautiful parasol.  Boasting its own pool, the Banyan is a favorite guest hangout. Enjoy tropical cocktails, beers, fresh fruit juices, or feast on generous salads, grilled meats, seafood, and fish prepared before your eyes.  Seating for 30, open from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Beach Service

Beach boys and girls are on hand on the beach to pamper guests as they soak up the sun.  Serving light fruit treats, drinks and cocktails, they also provide refreshing towels and sunglasses polishing service.
